Mission statement
The company’s activities will provide benefit to those parents and carers in the St. Ives area finding themselves in difficult circumstances.
Those that have perhaps fallen into financial hardship, homelessness or fleeing a home they no longer feel safe in.
We provide much needed essential items such as cots, prams, high-chairs, clothes, toys and everyday items too.
What we ask for
Donations from the local communities of all sorts of items that are important for children and their parents and carers. We aim to collect donations for all ages of children and not only essential everyday items and clothing but also toys, books and home equipment.

Why we do it
There are so many times in life when things can get difficult and it can affect anyone at any time. Whether there are financial hardships, unexpected housing of a child, homelessness or escaping a place that no longer feels safe.
We believe we all deserve to have somewhere to go for some help if those times hit us and we want to provide that service without judgment or risk.
How we work
We gather donations from the public which are then sorted and prepared for those in need.
We look to ensure all items are clean and in good working order.
Items that are donated but not in good enough condition or unneeded will either be redistributed or recycled.
A referral will be made to us through the community, that may be a school, doctors or other community service. We then ensure the items can be passed on to the referee ensuring anonymity and that donations go to those truly in need of them.
When funds allow we will also purchase new essential items such as bottle teats, nappies and wipes.
If you are someone in need of some help or know someone that does please complete the referral form which can be found on our Facebook Page.

Who we are
We are a group of mums that decided we wanted to help having found ourselves needing some help on occasion and fully understanding the feelings that come with needing to ask for help. We volunteer our time and resources and do not make any financial benefit from the work we do. If you would like to volunteer too please do get in touch via Facebook or email.
